I hope he lets go a bit, bowls unrestrained and slips in a few at around 150k. Full deliveries at that pace to lower order batsmen can cause trouble

vishalvirsingh Posted March 2, 2015 Author Posted March 2, 2015 Varun had outplayed shammi and Umesh in the practice matches in Australia and he had created enuf chances in tests as well - just that he went overboard in the trick that Dhoni played - bouncers and Johnson really got lucky when he hit and his mishits got him runs. the problem is Varun was benched for no fault of his and as one sees now Shammi and Umesh who were also giving away too many loose balls now have managed to get better control now. Varun would have also managed to get back his rhythm and line n length. selectors who picked up Binny and an unfit bhuvi ahead of Varun - definitely need to correct this.
vishalvirsingh Posted March 2, 2015 Author Posted March 2, 2015 if I say that Umesh Yadav SCARED UAE and made them CRY initially and he was the reason for others to get wickets... actually on his first ball itself a catch was dropped as rohit tried to catch. he bowled the BEST even better than ashwin and Mohit sharma. umesh was unlucky not to get 4 wickets.. his 6 or 7m overs cost him only 10 runs and got 2 wickets.

I don't see West indies batsman much better than UAE( except for Gayle )
vishalvirsingh Posted March 4, 2015 Author Posted March 4, 2015 The Real Speed king of our fast bowlers Varun Aroon is still relaxing in india where as he should have been playing in the world cup.. see what broad said about him- broad gets nightmares of he being stuck by Varun. in this world cup - we may need to scare the hell out of batsman too and a 135 k to 137k mohit wont scare the batsman... only a 150 K varun can do that. Varun is Extra Special - he should have been in the playing eleven along with umesh and shammi Lets see if still bhuvi can be replaced by Varun. Dhwal is way too average a bowler to play in INDIA world cup eleven.

I wanna see how much wud we score against these minnows- if we get the chance to bat first. looks we wud play Bangladesh in quarter finals
Vilander Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I dont get this Wahab guy, his peak effort balls are pacy but is slower than the giant lad..who himself hovers around 140. Wahab can bowl very quick with control but is unable to sustain it for any lenghth of time. Aaron in place of Bhuvaneswari would have been perfect.
