Bigg Brother Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Pakistan team's fielding today was worst I have ever seen in my life. They dropped 5-6 catches. Even their legend Afridi dropped one. Their bowlers at boundary were just pathetic.. Most hilarious fielding!!!!

As somebody has said, how old is afridi? when he was officially 16 it did not matter as he was maybe 22 in real life. Now he is 34 officially he is 40 in real life.

Danish Kaneria, whilst now known as a fixer, suffered so much because of drop catches and stumpings. It's not just the 1 wicket you miss out on, it's possibility of another quick wicket that often comes if there is pressure. Pakistan's fielding is appalling and it's not even fit for a pub team full of fat men. I read somewhere that over the last 10 years, Pakistan on average would have had to take 25 wickets per test match due to the number of drops and missed stumpings. Comfortably the worst from the test playing nations. I think NZ and SA were joint top at 20.5. But I'd need to dig up the articles. How is it even possible to be that bad in the field.

peterparker Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 paksitani fielding always has been like this, since when they were known as a champion fielding side? The thing which is different is that, earlier, they had bowlers who used to pick wickets, despite their fielders dropping catches and leaking runs. Now, their bowlers cannot pick up wickets.
