Crookbond Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Completely innovative, does not look like the iPhone at all.
Sachin=GOD Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 not sure if i should wait for this or get nexus 6. any thoughts? Nexus 6 is a 5.96 inch PHABLET while the S6 is a 5.1 inch PHONE. I would strongly suggest that before buying the Nexus 6 you try to at least hold it in your hands and see if you can manage it - if you can, then go for it. Its superb phone and if you can manage the large screen then your overall experience will be awesome. But if its too big for you then wait for the S6 bcoz this time Samsung have released a really good flagship ( though TouchWiz still isn't very good) with pretty good design and top of the line specs.
Detonator Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 ^ it's not top on the line specs. It looks like there won't be a snapdragon version for S6. Nexus 6 with snapdragon is miles better than exyos s6.

Kalia_Test Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 ^^ Is anandtech still reliable for reviews on benchmarks? I am asking this as I stopped going there after Anand moved to Apple. I somehow felt the site would lose credibility. Prior to that, I used to read every article that I could understand ( leaving SSD reviews, etc )

velu Posted March 2, 2015 Author Posted March 2, 2015 Exynos is always better than snapdragon when comes to raw power .. but when comes to GPU benchmarks Snapdragon handsomely beat Exynos.. compare Note 4 exynos vs SD in the below link http://wccftech.com/galaxy-note-4-snapdragon-vs-exynos/ exynos is known to drain more power ( obviously it generates more heat ) , but latets exynos uses 14nm tech vs SDs 20nm.. guess exynos might be as efficient as SD in terms of power consumption bcoz of smaller circuit.. i dont know much about customization , but snapdragon uses heavily customized ARM which is not very strong point for samsung but qualcomm announced SD 820 which uses 14nm or TMSCs 16nm .. guess qualcomm will be back in business in another 3 or 4 months

It is a solid site still for hardware reviews..When it comes to Apple products you cannot ignore the bias.
Old guy Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 i use this site the most http://arstechnica.com/ for just android news http://www.androidpolice.com/

Malcolm Merlyn Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Not buying S6.Will buy Note 4 and then if Sammsung doesnt change this non removable battery and no SD card ****,will have to buy Iphone.
Sachin=GOD Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Not buying S6.Will buy Note 4 and then if Sammsung doesnt change this non removable battery and no SD card ****' date='will have to buy Iphone.[/quote'] If they are going with a non-removable battery then obviously they are very confident that there won't be any situations where you would need to remove the battery (like phone hanging etc) and even if such a situation does arise, there would an option like Sabby said (volume up+power or some other combination). As for SD card - they have 32, 64 and 128 GB options. I don't know about you (or about other users) but for me 32 is more than enough in a phone and here the options start from 32 and go till 128 - I really would think that there would be no need for SD card once you have say, 64 GB on the phone itself.
