Malcolm Merlyn Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Today SA played 4 bowlers.The fifth bowling option of ABDV plus Duminy gave away 77 runs in 9 overs,that prove crucial for the match. Its astonishing that SA didnt play a fifth bowling all rounder.Even their squad has only Behardein who can act as a fifth bowler plus lower order batsman. Its amusing that when even a team like India is playing bowling all rounders and has 3 bowling all rounders in the squad,but SA brought just one bowling AR that too Behardien. Poor strategic thinking from SA.

Even when AB got out recklessly.all they needed is 30 runs more with 17 overs to spare i guess...

I just still noon understand how people talk them up as big thing. For me this SA team is one of the weakest WC SA teams I've seen. Raina is frankly better value than De ****, Miller or Duniny and that shows how pathetic their cupboard is now.
