And if you have watched the match on 15th Feb, It was Ashwin who got Harris Sohail playing well and Jaadu got Akmal. If Sarfraz can smack Herath on a spinning 5th day test wicket, I see no reason why he can't play Ashwing and Sir Jadeja better. Your spinners made the difference that day in context of the game, Sarfraz might would have proved to be that X-Factor and yes my point is with facts.

Sarfaraz averages 30 in ODIs. He is still inexperienced, give him time to show what he is capable of (or what he isn't capable of). There is no point in exaggerating his skill just because of 2 good matches.

But getting him out under 10? Which even the SA attack couldnt do. Either he is giving Indian bowlers too much credit or well he is under rating Sarf too much? Also, in the WC previous forms doesnt really matter i believe. We all saw how Indian team after not managing to win a single game for months showed up superbly in the tournament.

Pakistan can only win against Aus if they bat first and put 300 + score and then unleash their pace attack...the big difference here is that all Aussie fielders will convert half chances and even their no 8 & 9 batsman can actually do sustained hitting unlike any other team. I think Pakistan had a better chance beating NZ or SL anyways beating Aus is very much possible.

I would go out and say that anytime that beats Australia will win the cup. If Pak does beat Australia inthe QF, nothing will stop them from winning the cup. So, personally I would much prefer playing Australia in the SF if we win our QF.

You should look into other poster autonomous's post to see why my response came. If you talk trash, you get the same back. Yeah Sohail took 5 wickets after India made more than 300 runs. But Shami took those wickets to bundle you guys out and finish the match. My views about Sarfraz are same. Aus or Dhoni will take care of him through their bowlers. Law of averages will catch up.

I think you might need to read out the post again, This needs no logic to say that him being best player of spin in line up would have been more effective.
