As far as I remember Gul was always a very good LOI bolwer.

Yes, he has been relatively economical because teams want to see him off but he has not looked like running through the opposition in any game. IMO I think they will be fine and by that I mean that this is not a game changer for them. How they go against the Aussies depends a lot more on their batting line-up.
