It is a 340 + pitch. Aus chased down 240 vs Eng in 40 overs and 275 vs SA. It will not be possible to defend any score less than 320. Get lost.

One team playing under immense pressure and other out-performs its self's on big occasion
amiret Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 The way Mitchell Starc is bowling , it;s as if the conditions don't matter to him. He is on a different plane of ability at the moment. Our batsmen will not have a problem tackling the other bowlers @SCG.

We played him better than most.He is their gun bowler.We have rest to score off.Toss is important if we manage a score near 300 i am confident dhoni will put the squeeze on with his spinners.The pressure is on aus not india.
cricket.fan Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 We stand no chance aganist their power hitting.even though we have put up300+ scores our batting is not convincing.i expect a easy defeat aganist aussies.if they win the toss then it will be the end..and if dhoni proves lucky again and calls the toss right then someone should play a heroic innings to post a good total ..still aganist australian power hitting our bowlers dont stand a chance

Record pretty much states ,what are the realistic chances of beating Australia in Australia .

But let see if they can beat pak first though.

But they have had lot of experience against Jadeja and Ashwin , and SCG will offer nothing for the spinners. As MSD has mentioned the 2 new ball rule is causing the spinners to be ineffective against power hitters like Maxwell. It is not the fault of the spinners , silly ICC odi rules are taking them out of the game . Anyway we are playing better now than in the tri-series , so the match will at least be competitive .
