Don't know why! any batsman would struggle against that type of bowling at that pace.

It was a parts 300 pitch, very similar to India-SA pitch.

There was nothing on the pitch. It was just shyte batting by Pak to score less than 280 on that pitch.

You can't expect someone to bowl those after bowling bouncers straight for 6 overs. But should've tried a bit in between.

Most batsmen would have struggled. Smith would have even more because of his shuffling. Look how Watson hit bouncers from Sohail. He was quick and it was zipping off the surface. HE was being beaten by pace.
P.B. Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Wahab was aggressive even in 2011 world cup against us. But at that time he was pitching the ball up. I think he is one of those guys who thrives on bigger stage. Probably will fit for IPL. I'd love to see some of the Pakistani bowlers being backed up by the Indian and other batsmen, not to mention the increased level of fielding.

Both the teams lack players who can score at a T20-esque SR in the closing overs; power hitting matters on these grounds. Compared to the attack you named, look at: Starc, Hazelwood, Boult, Southee, Vettori IMO Starc > Wahab (slightly), Boult > Irfan, Southee > Yadav, Shami > Hazelwood, Vettori > Ashwin.
