putrevus
If you want to be remembered as all time best, you need to raise your level at least once in your career when your team needs you the most. Who cares about all the gaudy stats Amla has accumulated , this guy has been utter disappointment in big tournaments. Steyn cannot leak that many runs period. They both simply choked period. vamos_rafa
Totally agree. I was hoping at some point would Steyn turn it on. But, he was piss poor barring that second last over. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
He had 6 balls to change the history for his country, He bottled it in 5 balls. Link to comment
putrevus
People were on Sachin's back for so long but he atleast had a legit reason, he never had the bowling or fielding to back him. These two who will be in hall of fame and were always part of strong teams but these two guys never came up big or raised their level to carry their team to promised land. Link to comment
bulbul
I don't think Steyn's greatness will be questioned as its done through tests. Amla is choker though. Link to comment

I bet sachin would have defended 12 runs in that over :cantstop: Link to comment
The Realist
Steyn is way overrated. In crunch situations he inevitably chokes. Spend more time on his hairdo then learning how to bowl at the death. Link to comment
rkt.india
Steyn is not great in ODIs. He is a test great. Link to comment
The Realist
Amla is just another Jayawardene - a pure FTB who scores heavily against minnows at home but often goes missing in tournaments and crunch games. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
Feel for Mone. He stepped up . Just the one boundary he conceded. Link to comment
rkt.india
Feel for Mone. He stepped up . Just the one boundary he conceded. still went for 11 in that over. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
still went for 11 in that over. Thanks to that drop catch. Link to comment
Captain
Steyn is an ATG due to his exploits in Test matches.Morne Morkel is probably a better ODI bowler than Steyn. When it comes to Amla though,it can't be denied that he bottles it every time when his team needs him.Amla's ODI stats make him look twice the batsman he actually is. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
Whatever happened to Albie Morkel.I think he is better than Steyn in death overs as he can atleast slip in a few slower ones. Link to comment
chase123565
Amla's average this world cup excluding that 150 against Ireland: 24 in 7 innings. Link to comment
adi B
they always always bottle it under pressure situations Link to comment

profster
I bet sachin would have defended 12 runs in that over :cantstop: He tied a match against WI in Aus and let us not forget the Hero Cup bowling epic. Ran through the Aussies in Kochi etc :-) Link to comment
