As you all know that I passionately support Bharat but my support for Australia is growing more and more every year. I have a very strong bond with that country and I'm very happy that they won. Deep down they are still doing it for their friend. I know some of us (including yours truly) think they have done too much of public grieving but I think that's what's in their mind.

Australia were just brilliant and reminded us that we were just not good enough or better than them. Let's just give it to them that they were simply better team. This defeat did not hurt as much as the defeat in 2003 WC final. It might be because we won the WC last time around but also we played really well until now. We have a lot of limitations in our team and we did exceedingly well to come to this far in the tournament but yesterday our limitations showed up. We got defeated by a better team and i just hope we learn from this and come back strong the next WC.

It didn't hurt me. I was more nervous against Pakistan match. I was disappointed but what made me happy is that we found a real good pace attack for the future. All vinay Kumars and bhuvi kumars can go back now. More importantly we have a new test captain who emphasizes more on fast bowlers who can bowl fast. This is a big positive for us.

I agree and I am surprised by myself. Off course I am sad but that 2003 world cup final loss was just bad. It was more to do because we had not won a world cup and atleast my dream to see my team win a world ucp wasn't accomplished. May be that we just recently won a world cup in 2011 is why this world cup defeat did not hurt much? It's hard to really say but I see the 2011 world cup victory being the biggest reason that it hurt less. But I hope it hurts the player more so that they don't lose any motiivation. I am sure they won't and they were motivated enough to win even this one.

Didn't see the last wicket falling on purpose and skipped to the end of the match Dhoni's interview. Having watched so much cricket over the last couple of decades has somewhat lessened the excitement or fear of the loss. Sorta immune to the losses these days. Not happy for sure but not that fazed like say 2003 final loss or the thriller excitement of the 2007 t20 final or the relief of the 2011. Saw some fans crying
