If England were to adopt a franchise system I hope the Headingley based team would keep the Yorkshire name rather than change to Leeds Every IPL franchise represents a state mate CSK-Tamil Nadu : RCB - Karnataka : MI-Maharashtra SRH -Andra and Telengana etc But all these cities are metros their names have been kept as team.Since Rajastan and Punjab doesnt have metro cities they just kept their state name.
