Swann's average against Aus was pretty terrible. I recall him only having a couple of good tests the last 3 series. One on Adelaide and the other at Lord's. So two great tests out of 13 ( he didn't play the last two of last series) and for the rest he was mainly mediocre. The reason England won the two ashes before the last one was because they had better batsmen. No longer the case so Aus probably will win it. I say 2-1 aus.

Fielding was top notch. Besides this, their mental toughness and attitude makes them a very formidable opposition for other teams. They are truly one team who start any tournament as the favourites and on 8/9 occasions out of 10 end up winning the tournament. That's how a champion team should be.

They posessed temperament ,mental strength and killer instinct in a different league from any other team. Not playing a single game in Australia acted against the fortunes of New Zealand as the bounce and conditions of pitches in Australia were at variance with those of New Zealand.Man-to man South Africa was still to me the best team.In the end I would place Australai as the giants on top with India,South Africa and New Zealand at level vying for 2nd spot.On paper I consider both South Africa and india marginally better than New Zealand and would have backed them to beat the Kiwis in a final on Australasian soil in close finish.This is because of their familiarity with Australian playing conditions. The only teams who have won the world cup better than this Australian side are Clive Lloyd's West Indian team and Ricky Ponting's Australian side.This 2015 Aussie taem would have won against the 1983,1987,1992 and 1996 winners of the cup.It posessed professionalsim on par with the giant West Indian and Australian teams of the past.Their trumpcard was great batting depth and striking pace bowling power which could make lightning breakthroughs.
