mishra Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 What happened to the "Smart City" project.I think it was based on China's ideology to create new cities which will automatically get filled up due to urbanization and create jobs. Its there. But local Goons/politicians (bahubali Politicians) are already forcing the farmers to sell their land to them so that they can make hefty profit.

The thing is, farmers commit suicide for a lot of factors, not just crop failure. Was interested in knowing what % of the suicides are caused by crop failure.

However news reports have not suggested that anybody cheered his hanging. from indian express. perhaps this is what they were cheering ? Are you referring to DMIC (delhi mumbai industrial corridor ) project which began in 2007 with help of around $ 100 Billion Japanese investment ? Around 24 new cities are envisaged in that project. Initial phase will be completed in 2019.

Facts , reasoning and perspective are irrelevant. In 2014 there were news manufacturers flashing breaking news on their channels , that AAP "leaders" had Raped women. The stories disappeared without any retractions. But the damage was done. There is a lot of money floating around , won't be surprised if they catch someone in the act wearing an AAP topi and a broom in hand.

Lack of evidence or failure of justice system doesnt mean AAP members are clean.
