India got thrashed by england at their own home, so not everyone can win at their home all the time. They got their ass whopped by Bangla in ODIs and rightly so because the ODI team is extremely pathetic that is represented by the rank. Its interesting how you throw test rankings out of the window because they dont suit your purpose but you are bringing up the 2 low ranked part when it suits your purpose. Interesting. Don't jump on everything..He is trying to say that England was No.1 at that time and that whitewash in 3 match series heavily increase your points on rankings. I accpet rankings whole heartedly.. We are at 7 becuase we have been pathetic last four years in that format. I just didnt say that Pakistan don't deserve it.. They Just don't justify it.. Pakistan fault that they are rubbish .Won one series home or away in last 3 years .No one stopped Pakistan from winning all these series no match against Big 3 or not Pakistan was whitewashed 3-0 last 3 tours to Australia and accused England of Match fixing last they were touring in England Why would they bother to invite regularly and waste money when u can't beat even Zimbabwe away from home or accuse their players of fixing .
DilSePakistani Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Still a long way to go to prove that we deserve to be in top 3 of test rankings We tour ang , aus and maybe nz (if india series is canceled) , this will give us a clear picture , i expect us to be blown away in eng jimmy would be too good for us we should bowl well in England with rahat wahab jk and maybe amir in nz we will find ot tough with boult swinging it miles our best chance would be in Aus if they give us highways like India was given we may somehow score 350 on these tracks and our bowling will put Aus under pressure . We play 4 test vs Eng 2 vs Nz 3 vs Aus Even if we win 2 that will be a success

It just pointed out that according to the updated ICC ODI rankings, Pakistan is considered a "minnow". Football rankings are different. In cricket, generally the test playing nations occupy the top 8 rankings.
