Jadeja is absolutely useless with both bat and ball,ojha is not quite as effective as before after cleansing his action.Harbhajan is bowling well but playing him in tests is risky. Who should be second spinner vs BD,SL & SA?

But Ashwin is without any doubt our best spinner and will probably end up as our 2nd greatest all rounder since Kapil if the management backs him for another 10 years, serious talent !!! Hate CSK, hate everything to do with IPL but will always be grateful to IPL for finding this guy, probably the only real find from this otherwise garbage league.

Many(Experts) were favour of selecting leggie For Australia sereis before start of the series when SL series was going.. Its not Kohli's fault that Ashwin bowled well after his selection after 1st test match.. Kohli made a blunder..it shouldn't be called his favourism for North Indians.
Gollum Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 He also prefers hanging out with Northies, Hindi speaking players etc. Most of our captains favor people from their state/region(even Gavaskar,Kapil, Sachin,Dada) and Kohli I expect will be no different. MSD always preferred CSK buddies and that didn't bode well for us. I don't want people like Ashwin,Vijay, Rahul(all 3 look meek, submissive, typical South Indian middle class)to suffer in case politics plays a part.

And quite a few MOM/MOS awards along the way. Amit Mishra has been a disaster in test cricket. Yes in ODIs he has the potential to be our best if he improves his mental toughness, fitness, ability to seduce Dhoni better than Sir etc.

The test series against South Africa and Sri Lanka will be a big test for him. But he was deadly against NZ, and NZ had some really great players of spin bowling, Taylor,BMac,Williamson etc.
