Latest action against the police constable has been taken when the victim reached police station and filed legal complaint. Delhi Home Minister, Satyendra Jain, said, "We shall look into the case, whatever needs to be done will be carried out." The person, who recorded the entire incident on his mobile, was quoted as saying, "Lady told me that the cop stopped her and demanded Rs 200 as penalty as she crossed red light." The man, who has been identified as Kamal Kant, also said, "When she refused to pay the penalty without receipt, traffic cop beat her." Meanwhile, the victim claimed, "The man should be strictly punished so that everyone think twice before repeating such a thing." In US she would have shot dead by the cops as soon as she would have picked up the stone.

The woman can also be charged with damage to public property.

Yes three children 2 daughters and 1 toddler I am quite confident that you can't carry more than 1 pillion rider on a 2-wheeler. That's a traffic violation right there. Although, the traffic policeman has no right to damage the 2-wheeler.

Gets mad and violent when he doesn't get the bribe. Policeman thinks he is entitled to receive the bribe .

WTH...first she jumps the red light.....she should not just be booked for traffic violation...but also endangering the life of her children. Then trying to get away when stopped.....should be booked for preventing a policeman from doing his duty. Then picking up a brick for hit...should be booked for assaulting and damaging property. WTH is wrong with people Behave like stupid morons and tthat too in front of children. Some women do think they can get away with everything.It is difficult for a male traffic policeman to stop a woman from escaping without being booked for getting physically. It is also not so easy to ask for bribe so openly in this age and time of mobile phones in each hand. The guy is a hot head and needs anger management.....but I do have sympathy for these guys.They spend endless hrs in the hot sun,extreme pollution often without momentary respite .Most often don't have any shade around.It is not difficult to understand if one of these guys loses it once in a while if someone picks a brick to assault while doing his work.Very unacceptable behavior ...but more understandable than the woman's behavior.

Instead of trying to create a scene. The lady is at fault - just cannot ignore that, but by responding so crassly, he showed how unprofesional he was.

True...he has been sacked and booked for assault.The woman cannot be considered a victim.She is the one who started it first by jumping a red light ,then trying to get away....and then assaulting.Now she s trying to be a victim and hero.Both hotheads should be booked and sent for anger management.These are the people who kill in rage.
