Amit : Give the advice who has stopped you, write a letter to Modijee and give him an advice. Prasun: Sir, it is the age of Twitter, who writes letter nowadays Amit: Then Tweet him, I am sure you must be having a Twitter account. Prasun: Well, as soon as I give any advice bhakts start abusing me. What should I do? Amit : Well in that case change the advice. :giggle: :haha::haha::haha::haha::haha::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Is it for real?
amiret Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 The Economist's South Asia bureau chief Adam Roberts @ARobertsjourno : "To neutralize terrorist through terrorist only". What on earth does that mean? Does Parrikar understand meaning of term terrorist? It does not have to mean anything Mr.Roberts . The CheerGirls will applaud regardless. Adam Roberts @ARobertsjourno : If India's defence minister really has endorsed the idea of using terrorists for whatever reason, then he should resign now #Parrikar

mishra Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 A critical note on Modis first year on ft. Dont remember oif they ever did some piece on any other India PMs Even his harshest critics have grudging admiration for Narendra Modi’s energetic performance as Indian prime minister since the landslide victory of his Bharatiya Janata party a year ago. “He exudes power. He exudes authority, indefatigable energy,” concedes Jairam Ramesh, a minister in the Congress-led coalition that was crushed in elections last May. “He’s changed the atmospherics of government.” Indian business leaders are in awe of Mr Modi’s almost monastic lifestyle — a punishing schedule that is said to begin at 5am — and his determined focus to transform India into a developed economy, eventually fit to match China. “Everyone’s scared of the prime minister,” says one admiring tycoon. amiret Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Happy May 16th to Nira Radia. NEW DELHI: Former corporate lobbyist Niira Radia can breathe easy with the CBI set to close all cases against her for lack of evidence. "The probe revealed that no favour was extended to any company by any official as suggested in the conversations. Radia was just boasting about her links and there is no criminality in that," a senior officer said http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/Niira-Radia-off-CBI-hook-for-lack-of-evidence/articleshow/47378214.cms

sticky wicket Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Adam Roberts @ARobertsjourno ·11 mins11 minutes ago Here's a preview of The Economist global cover this week, to go with my 14-page special report on Modi's first year Amazing selection of cover page. better to stay away from likes of The Economist...full of nonsensical rubbish especially on India. i wouldn't be surprised if this moronic magazine has negative undertones in this 14 page special for India after they strongly urged voters to make Rahul Gandhi PM.
adi B Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 I revisit the general election thread from time to time just to get the chills and goosebumps again. What a historic day that was and the icf was flooded with posts and events that day,the feeling was as if we won the world cup again :isalute:
