I've seen often he lifts the finger when he fielding team appeals furiously and instantly. Of late he's been pretty crap. Perhaps time for ICC to look at the recent debacles he's party to and replace him with a newbie?.

Australia and Pakistan appeal convincingly even if the ball has missed the bat by 12 inches or more.

Taufel also ruled plumb lbws not out when India was bowling, only because the batsmen had come way forward. Dravid also came way too forward. There was doubt for the ump to give in favor of Batsmen, but still decided to fack Dravid. Very inconsistent umpiring, just like the Sydney test. Altho' Hawk shows it was out, in the context of the match Dravid can feel cheated. ....Says Atul Wassan
