Will Bhuvi Kumar and Lambu Sharma just walk into the Test team?

If pitches are so flat as it seems to be the case. I do hope India do play Ishant. No point, wasting Umesh or Aaron on dead pitches. Ishant does have his uses.

Surprised with all the hate Ishant is getting here. Last 2 years he has been quite impressive and dare I say, he was our best bowler in the overseas assignments. He has earned his spot in the team on merit. Ideally Shami should have been the 2nd pacer but now that he is unavailable I think Umesh should be given a go. But the advantage of Bhuvi is that he can bowl 25 overs in a day and keep it tight unlike Yadav who leaks runs like crazy and can max give you 15 overs in a day. Also the Bhuvi we saw in Australia was an injured version. He is a much better bowler than that and add to that his batting abilities. I hope Kohli plays Ishant,Yadav,Bhuvi,Ashwin and Karn Sharma(no Bhajji please, rather back a youngster over a washed up old guy who has been picked not based on performance but politics). I wouldn't risk Aaron and Yadav in the same XI, else Bangladesh may run away to 500 runs in a day's play. :cantstop: In future series' Yadav and Aaron should be rotated alternatively and asked to go full throttle, both are injury prone so can't play every single match.

Last time India toured they put up some spicy pitches. Any report suggesting that pitch will be flat or some of you are just basing it on what they served to Pak?

Both of those bowlers deserve to be in the team on merit, especially on flat pitches where we need to run 5 bowlers. B Kumar can bowl many economical overs and Ishant Sharma is very underrated in tests. He has been doing very well recently. Ideally we would need an attack like Yadav, B Kumar, Ishant Sharma, Shami and Ashwin. But for this match since Shami is injured we can go with Harbhajan. 2 spinners would be useful too in this case.

The same old useless bowlers. They couldn't perform on seam friendly tracks, they'll be utter garbage on flat tracks.

Expectations are so low key that recycled pap like Sharma who performs once every 2 years (cause he gets endless rope) is supposed to make us feel grateful. The fact is Sharma has the WORST stats for any bowler that has played the number of games he has. If he's supposed to be the solution it's best not to think about the question.

Why so much hate for our bowlers, we are winning this match inside 4 days if not 3, i agree our bowling may not be best in world but is too much for bang, you are over estimating bangla batting after the phainty they gave to club class bowlers of pakis, very easy indian victory by an inning on the cards because bang batting will not last 100 overs in two innings combined vs our bowling which is hundred time better than pakis, just pray that it don't rain a lot, only three full days rain can save bangla from a certain defeat.
