If you dig deeper a lots of coverups are there (Naxal issues, emergency and so on. Congress leaders around after Indiraji were new Royals of India) And this is the reason, I dont believe that Godhra was NOT a planned activity. Locking doors from both sides of two compartments and then arranging petrol and burning it, cant happen without involvement of some politician or big don. ^ Mishra ji.. entire godhra was planned by Modi and RSS. These guys have already figured it all out. So you dont have any argument left any more. :(( Nobody freaking want to talk about it, how in the world, bunch of people had gallons of fuel ready just outside of the station and the whole incidence happened. They go to the extend of believing that people inside burnt themselves to blame on one particular community. At this time, you feel like there is not much value of the lives of majority at all. They just keep saying Godra doesnt matter.. WHY? because the community is in majority. For me, the death of everyone is equally painful. Whatever happened post godhra is unimaginable. By the way, on similar lines - a recent news article from Karnataka mentioned how Karnataka Congress govt dropped many cases against PFI (a primarily Muslim organization that had once chopped the hands of a Christian professor who had set a question paper that merely mentioned the name "Mohammad"). PFI was formed after SIMI was banned.

Of course there is a conspiracy here. The Shiv Sena was increasingly becoming a potent force in the city of Mumbai and Pawar and the rest of his Congressi gang wanted to suppress this event and make it look like either a South Indian issue or an issue that affected both Hindus and Muslims alike. As it turns out, when elections were held in 1995, Shiv Sena ended up becoming the party with the most seats in the assembly and forming the govt.
