Homosexuality and homosexual MARRIAGE are two separate issues. Did Vishnu and Shiva get married before Lord Ayyappa was born? .
How can a man give birth to a child? Obviously, there is more to that story .... Please don't use random examples to illustrate your point

Marriage is no longer just a religious institution. It is a legal contract sanctioned by the government because the government provides benefits to married couples. And all the discussion is based on the availability of those benefits. No one should care whether a priest or mullah sanctions the marriage. As long as you can get a certificate from the registrar' date= you are good to go and can avail the benefits due to you. State registrar office can call whatever it wants, but why call marriage? The term has religious overtures. isnt it?
Wrong, Gay Christian will force priest to do it. Same is with other societies.

Not any more. What about an atheist getting married? Who sanctions that? I know a number of people who just got a "registered marriage" with no religious ceremony. Are their marriages illegitimate?

This will also lead to confused generation who will always wonder what to insert inside and where to insert inside.
Since you have known about homosexulaity for many years, has it confused you? Did you wonder where you should insert or get it inserted?

Imagine that you go to a sauna hoping to relax. But the sauna is filled with gays and they start to "legally" check you out :hysterical:
Wow you find it very funny, what does legalizing same sex marriage change when it comes to spas and pools?

Even in the US, homosexuality itself was legal. It was the marriage part that was under question, and now that is legal too.
Yes Marriage included sharing wife with 4 other brothers, having multiple wives and burning of wife after the death of husband. Im glad that definition has been changing with time.

Marriage is religious thing by the religious institutions. Its not about what science and logic says. I dont see a problem in someone being a gay. Problem lies when someone says that I can be a Christian/Hindu/Muslim and a gay and want the blessing of a religious institution for marriage. Isnt As long as Church,Mosque, temple priest being forced to accept something because court has forced a ruling over them. Why do you want Priests(whatever religion) to be forced to give their blessing.
Persists performed bali, 5 brothers to one wife wedding and sati. I dont really care what persists think. In islam they can marry kids and have multiple wives so they should be the last ones to complain.

Wow you find it very funny' date=' what does legalizing same sex marriage change when it comes to spas and pools?[/quote'] behavior (people coming out of the closet and being more expressive) :dontknow:

why?
Because they may not prefer to be hit by people of the same sex With gay marriages becoming legal technically a guy could ask for a date / propose / etc to another guy (straight or otherwise) :hysterical:

Do you go to the pool, do girls come up to you and start proposing because it's legal to marry? Do you think gays just like to sleep with every man they see? Even if they ask someone out, and lets assume that you are attractive to some homosexual, cant you just say No? I dont understand whats the big deal.

Pool is a metaphor. It could be any place where you could pick up someone For you it may not be a big deal. May be you would even go out with a guy. For someone else it could be a big deal :P See the statement ----> "Your male co-worker has a crush on you" (here I have to specify male. Earlier, it would be assumed that it would be a female (when talking about a male)) :hysterical:

Assuming that gay relationships / marriages become legal in India and people come out of their closets: BCCI's usual policy is to not allow wives and GFs to stay with cricketers. What if two cricketers are in a relationship. Will they be allowed to share the room? :hmmmm:

No, I am talking how it would work in a real life event when someone will come up to you and how you can say NO, the same way you would say no to someone of the opposite sex. You are just giggling because you think that somehow its funny.

I cant do anything about it. Asking out someone from the opposite sex is also a big deal for a lot of people. I cant do anything about it, in your wisdom that could be a problem as well.

again the laugh, what is your question? Earlier it was the norm that widows were burnt with their husband's body and then people said "im marrying a widow" and now people usually say "im getting married". Its how you phrase a sentence, I do not understand how legalizing gay marriage has an impact on your life, except that it has made you giggle for the last few hours.

On one hand, you are suggesting that I have to behave in the same way as I would to the opposite sex to an unnatural situation; On the other hand, you are asking me how it would impact my (or anyone in uncomfortable situation) life Assuming that gay relationships / marriages come to be seen as normal and legal in India, imagine Dhoni and Jadeja get married. So for me it is a funny situation to see Mr. and Mrs. Jadeja batting together, and Mrs. Jadeja being called up to give captain's comments .... This is a funny situation for me The widow example is not apples to apples one
