This logic don't work practically at all. Liberal countries like Sweden and Norway have even banned purchase of sex in the name of women protection. They totally forget argument my body my right. States always tries to impose some kind of restriction on their people which are acceptable to society.O/W why gambling , betting are banned in India. let people loose their money . Their money their right.
It does work. In general, the trend over the recent history has been for state to have less and less control over the private lives of individuals. We haven't reached the ideal state yet and incremental progress will become tougher because the number of people involved in those groups is very small to form a politically influential lobby. But, hopefully we will reach the ideal state in a couple of hundred years.

I might have used wrong words, both anomaly and disorder might be wrong. I consider both homo and bisexuality are genetic traits but how does these genes develop. I am not sure about it scientifically but isn't it an anomaly that happened during gene development. Like some people are born with physical and mental anomalies. I would like to think this is also an anomaly people are born with due to some genetic alterations.
Homosexuality is a complex phenomenon RKT - these are not ONLY genetic traits. Currently, you are making a hypothesis; the onus is on you to prove it. Your hypothesis is on weak grounds because multiple past studies show theories contradicting your results. Therefore, it is incredibly harder for you to prove your hypothesis because you need to first point out what's wrong in the earlier studies. Finally, your hypothesis is provocative and should be first studies before released to public.

Perhaps "disorder" as the terminology is what people aren't agreeing with you on. LGBTs don't consider themselves suffering from any disorder. It is a way of life they have chosen based on their tastes. The "different" tastes that they have than the majority of the population could perhaps be traced back to their genetic make. Full disclosure: I have not read any scientific research on the matter and my opinion is based on what I have heard from others.

Yeah disorder was a wrong word I used. That's why I changed it to genetic anomaly and traits. Also, another reason for me is that world works on reproductive system while homosexual relationships can't reproduce. So, in that way too, it is an unnatural. Also, homosexuality or heterosexuality can't be because they chose it. You can't be a homosexual by choice. You are born with traits of homosexuality, something that makes you attracted to same gender rather than opposite. Like, I can't be a homosexual even if I chose to be. Can't term it a choice. I am not saying against these laws. No, I am as liberal as they come. Even I haven't read much about how sexual preferences develop.

Those who are in between can choose homosexual or heterosexual. also read this

It is like being left-handed.
It is not simple as that . the more you read about it the more you get confused
Sexual identity, sexual attraction and sexual experience: the Second Australian Study of Health and Relationships. Sexual attraction and experience did not necessarily correspond. Homosexual/gay identity was more common among men with tertiary education and living in cities and less common among men with blue-collar jobs. Many gay men (53%) and lesbians (76%) had some experience with an other-sex partner http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25376998
How come homosexuality is less common in people living in rural area's and with blue collar jobs if it is natural it should be uniform among all .

^ These guys probably watched a lot of TV featuring gay rights movement .... However, there is no conclusive evidence that "gay is natural" .... From what I understand, pedophiles too are considering making similar argument

Wouldn't it be easier to choose heterosexuality to avoid abuse?

So why even bother with making such points (and esp. when they have been discussed)

To make easy money? The person can choose to take the risk of going illegal to make some quick bucks. But what reason would a homosexual have? Easy sex? No, because it's far easier to find a heterosexual partner. I tried hard, but I'm not able to come up with an example for my question that would tell me why someone would choose to be gay.

^ As I mentioned, a thief chooses to take the risk of getting arrested for gaining quick money. What such incentive would a gay person have?

Just like someone choosing their profession .There are plenty of easy jobs than choosing Army or Police (for example) as employment doesn't choosing to be them is a disorder .

:hysterical::hysterical: Majority of people choose profession because of money there are probably 0.0001 % who choose because they really like it. Show me 10 people who choose teaching because they like it and are teaching in low paying govt schools or rural area's out of choice

Of course. there is very large demand in rural area's because with the type of skills they have option to choose farming or secured army . Infact anyone with little knowledge that people pay bribe to get recruited in army at soldier level .On the other hand the highly educated one hardly opt for army. you will find very few IITians or premiur instiitute graduate opt for army. Also officer level army pay handsomly with great quality of life so few educated opt for that If people join army for for sake of nationalism then why they bribe?
