SLICKR392 Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Sree must sue BCCI and Delhi Police for the lost reputation and revenue. Destroyed his career. +1
rkt.india Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Sreesanth was certainly indulged in fixing, might not be proved in court.
vishalvirsingh Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I was at Chennai airport and suddenly I saw ganguly Sachin utthappa and Sreesanth walk off with greg chapel next to me...I waved and smiled at all as they walked with in inches from me- only guy who returned a big smile to me and even waved me back was Sreesanth. I also have a snap with uthappa at Mumbai airport as I got to meet him later. Sreesanth had a indian flag on his cricket bag and this guy was full of passion n excitement.. I guess he was just over the moon for playing for India. after seeing him I got a shocker that he was corrupt in IPL but now I kinda believe that he what I saw of him would be true - this guy was possibly the most passionate n india loving cricket player...I agree that he had anger management issue's n all that but I believe he must be clean that's why he has come out totally clean.
vishalvirsingh Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I will not be surprised if Sreesanth plays for India again- he had the talent and if BCCI lets him play.. he could get bagfull of wickets in Domestic cricket and make his way back.
swatpulla Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I will not be surprised if Sreesanth plays for India again- he had the talent and if BCCI lets him play.. he could get bagfull of wickets in Domestic cricket and make his way back. Have you looked at his recent pictures? He looks more like an over-fed Mallu star than an athlete. Even if he was allowed to make a comeback, I doubt he would be any good.
vishalvirsingh Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 getting back full fitness for a fast bowler is tuf but not very tuf for Sreesanth ...he did make a comeback once during the srilanka series and got a fifer in the first innings itself.... he can come back strong if he tries his best though Its very tuf. he had that lovely outswing which was very difficult to play and easy to edge...even Praveen kumar and bhuvi only have good inswing .. I guess he was probably the best outswing bowler..he needs to start bowling at 135 + and with his outswing he will pick wickets.
vishalvirsingh Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 though Aaron and Umesh have genuine pace but the swing they get is not very impressive- both have fans like me and equal number of critics. Ishant is the big bouncer bowler.. if his bouncers are slow( on patta's) then he becomes a failure. bhuvi is a new ball swing bowler and as soon as the ball gets old ..he becomes unimpressive. Vinay kumar is totally slow...dinda is out of form...pankaj singh failed in his debut series... only Shammi looks like a FULL FLAGGED Pacer. Nehra looks good but only fit to play in T20. So we do not have challenging Pace bowlers --- if sreesanth gets fit and can get his pace n outswing back ..he can play for india.. india does have 2 or 3 good pacers but still not very blessed as far as fast bowlers are concerned.
vishalvirsingh Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 happy to know that Varun n umesh are likely to play tomorrow's india A match
Ironhide Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Sreesanth is life-banned and rightly so, let him fight in courts and unban himself, when it is possible for a Kingpin mafia like Azhar to overturn the ban then it would be easy for sreesanth due to lax laws. Hopefully by the time he is done with the courts, his fixing capable career will be over too.
