Tiger80 Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Pathetic stuff from Congress How come a party with 44 seats and left with another 4-5 seats block parleiment from working
asterix Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 ^ They can... If BJP has guts or has any sort of dirty tricks department, can go and resolve this issue. The fact is that BJP itself doesn't wants to resolve the logjam...
Tiger80 Posted August 3, 2015 Author Posted August 3, 2015 What I don't understand they also want resignation of Raje , Shivraj . Since when did Parliament stopped working on corruption of states matter
mishra Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Cos they got majority in Rajya Sabha. Unless they agree, No bill go through. Simple as that.
asterix Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Deadlock in Parleiment What I don't understand they also want resignation of Raje ' date=' Shivraj . Since when did Parliament stopped working on corruption of states matter[/quote'] They are just trying to do tit for tat, irrespective of the relevance of the issue... Sonia knows very well that if this Govt manages to pass lots of bills, Congress has no hope in the future... But one thing I've realised that no matter how much you think, why it's happening, it'll happen only because the ruling party is complicit and playing the ball... In case of Yakub's hanging too, whatever the polarisation has happened, RSS and BJP wanted it that way only...
Khalpat Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 ^ They can... If BJP has guts or has any sort of dirty tricks department, can go and resolve this issue. The fact is that BJP itself doesn't wants to resolve the logjam... I think BJP is on a strategy. This whole saga is painting Congress in very bad light. Jaitley in his interview said "Congress MP's are being misguided by the leadership." I think slowly all other opposition parties are not in the favour of blocking the parliament and in COngress itself MP's like Shashi Tharoor are not in the favour. Congress is slowly getting sidelined, I think at the second last day Modi will give a fiery speech and they will get GST passed.

In case of Yakub's hanging too, whatever the polarisation has happened, RSS and BJP wanted it that way only... the problem is these bills on labour, land tax etc are major bills. Huge bills. Your not talking about the run of the mill bills. Your talking about bills that could potentially alter India's economic direction for the good. GST bill for example will need Congress in the RS. But a lot of parties are ideologically oppose the land and labour bills.
Khalpat Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 27 Congress members suspended from Lok Sabha for 5 days for disrupting house with their protests : Press Trust of India
adi B Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Speaker sunitra mahajan has suspended 27 congress MPs from the house for raising placards !! Good riddance
adi B Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Most parties were sitting in their place,be it tmc,bjd etc only congress is trying to disrupt the house without any substantial reason.five days is too less ,should have suspended them for the whole session
Khalpat Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Shekhar Gupta @ShekharGupta 6m6 minutes ago Sad it had to come to this, but Cong MPs' suspension well-deserved. Let it also become the norm whoever is be in power or opposition. Enough
Sachin=GOD Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Well done Speaker. The time has come for BJP to seriously think about a joint session because Congress' agenda is quite clear - irrespective of whether it agrees with the Govt's stand or not, it is going to oppose the Govt on any and all issues.
Sachin=GOD Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 AAP (4 MPs) and TMC (34 MPs) to boycott Parliament for next 5 days in solidarity for Congress. So 25+4+34=63 absent MPs & counting. @ibnlive Some people would be thinking that BJP should use this chance to pass all the bills it wants - it would be THE worst possible idea.

What AAP spokespersons of ICF have to say about AAP aligning with congress again even when congress is at fault. They always blame BJP Congress aligning against AAP
Sachin=GOD Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 What AAP spokespersons of ICF have to say about AAP aligning with congress again even when congress is at fault. They always blame BJP Congress aligning against AAP AAPturds Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk BTW a few days back BJP's 3 MLAs in Delhi were thrown out of Assembly for disorderly conduct IIRC. Now AAP is supporting Cong for the same.
Khalpat Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 If true then this is not a good decision by AAP top brass. They had a good opportunity to show opposition behavior of different kind and come out of Congress shadow. They could have used this opportunity and debated with BJP inside parliament.
asterix Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Anarchist will always be anarchist... BTW I thought Modi managed to do some dealing with Mamata... Looks like it didn't worked out...
adi B Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Expected from parties like tmc, congress and aap.I actually would have been surprised if aap supported the government on key bills, they are outright allies of congress and left leaning parties
adi B Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Sonia gandhi is too dumb to understand these things,it's that leach ahmed patel who's giving these ridiculous ideas
