It is not about Number crunching-If one gets to that you will find flaws in SRT and Lara's records as well leave alone a player who has played very little. At the end of the day 35.00 average over a 100 games is good enough with the 100 and 50's conversion rate....S/R is ok for a guy who has opened in some difficult conditions. Once again let me clarify the stats are mediocre to above-average from the high standards a lot of fans have but no way bad enough to be totally written off and made a mockery out of

In ODI's you cannot separate average and strike rate,either you have a high average/moderate strike rate or a decent average but a high strike rate. The point i was trying to make is that Rohit totally failed in the finishing role but was given special preference and given a shot at opening.He had a good start no doubt but he has started failing in that role too. I believe India has better options that Rohit,Gambhir/skindia will do a better job as opener and Tiwary/Jhadav will do better in the middle order,but we will be stuck with Rohit because of his supposed tailunt.
We have guys like Manan Vohra (albeit needs some fine tuning), Samson, Naman Ojha coming through. So heat will be on in one dayers as well.

Raina is a Finisher and Rohit has been opening abroad recently so naturally S/R will be low.....When I bring up his 200 with 16 6's then it becomes a flat patta against a SUb standard attack(Which I don't deny it wasn't :giggle:) But as I said there seems to be a lot of hate on one player who hasn't even played a lot
63 strike rate is horrible strike rate :cantstop: . That is worse even in the 80s

He was given openers role because of Dhoni's ego BS with Sehwag.Dhoni does not want to play Sehwag again , so he promoted youngster Rohit. If Sehwag somehow sorts his things, there is no better opener than Sehwag in Asia.This guy Rohit as opener may work in India, but will end in tears for Dhoni in WC2015.

even i wear flip flops at home. but i dont go to the restaurant in it. anyways diff people diff opinion. In the US everyone wear it all the time, even on jeans, even celebs when they roam around on the roads. in the UK, not even beggers wear it.
