Great observation, sourab10forever! I didn't include the inns data to avoid clutter on the slide, otherwise the per inns six ratio is much higher for some of the batsmen. For instance, AB has hit 58 sixes in 18 inns of 20 matches, which takes his six ratio above 3 per inns.

I'm not sure what you are implying I can't speak for others, but I don't hate Rohit Sharma. I quite like him as an LOI player. I just don't think he deserves a test spot at this point. What I do HATE is how awfully he played in the opportunities he got at test level. I hate his fans' rhetoric about his perceived 'talent' and how they expect the team to bend over backwards to accommodate him. CricketBuffOne 1

To some extent, Raina & Yuvraj are also hitters, but their game is not entirely about power hitting, they are very good timers as well. I see in them a blend of both timing as well as power hitting. Dhoni on the other hand is a pure power hitter. Can't comment on Manish Pandey, Gurkeerat and Rishi Dhawan as I haven't seen enough of them. Edited January 10, 2016 by CricketBuffOne

Rohit, Yuvraj, Raina and even Vijay to some extent would make this list. Then there are players who hit very powerfully but don't go for that many sixes or are not that comfortable playing lofted shots . There are many many batsmen in that category. Tendulkar, Vengsarkar, Sandeep Patil, Kambli, .....from the past and ..... Kohli now ... would qualify from India.If we consider batsmen who can hit sixes based on power only then MSD and Kapil Dev would be obvious choices from India. CricketBuffOne 1
