Ultimate_Game
As per the article below Yuvraj has been ruled out of WT20 as his injury is not healing fast enough, and manish Pandey will replace Yuvraj.http://www.dnaindia.com/sport/report-world-t20-yuvraj-singh-ruled-out-of-tournament-after-twisting-ankle-against-australia-2195151 Here's the article quoted below... Quote Yuvraj Singh may be ruled out of the ICC World Twenty20 after he rolled his ankle during India's chase against Australia in Mohali on Sunday. According to media reports, news from the dressing room suggests that Yuvraj's injury is not showing signs of quick improvement, and Manish Pandey, who impressed with his performance in Australia, will take his place. Yuvraj Singh twisted his ankle while hopping to fend off a delivery while batting against Australia. Despite treatment by the physio, Yuvraj continued to struggle for the rest of his innings and was out for 21. India won the match by six wickets after Virat Kohli smashed a 51-ball 82. Manish Pandey made a match-winning century in the 5th and final ODI against Australia in January to deny them a 5-0 whitewash, and is the first Indian batsman to hit a century in the Indian Premier League. India next take on West Indies at Mumbai on March 31 in the semifinal. tweaker 1 Link to comment

G_B_
Seems Rahane might feature. Which is a surprise considering that Negi is the allrounder cover. Though must be said Wankhede is Rahane's home turf. Knows the ground inside out Link to comment

Dude can you put your regional-centric (Punjab) view to side for once? Yes, Raina, Rohit and Dhawan aren't doing much at the moment but at least they have a more recent history of contributing than Yuvraj. Raina showed up in T20s in Aus and won us the SF in WT2014. He's one of the few guys (other than Pandya) who can go from ball one in case of a steep chase. As for Dhawan the guy showed up in CT2013, WC2015 and in Asia Cup final. Granted he's not the best opener for T20s but we can't do much with selection blunders. Lastly on to Rohit - the guy has been on a hot form throughout the Aus series (odis and T20s) and in the Asia Cup opener. You simply can't leave him out. All these players have shown they can perform based on recent past. OTOH Yuvraj hasn't looked good since 2011 - that's 5 years! He's only good at supporting Kohli while chasing lowish totals. He can't play at a high SR and can't go ballistic from ball one which a no. 5 batsman is expected to do in T20s. And neither is he a good fielder anymore. I'm sorry but Yuvraj is a liability at this point and the sooner we realize it the better for India. Singh bling 1 Link to comment
