From MI's perspective, he is better off warming the bench (unfortunate reality ) Khawaja is a good signing.. Khawaja, Rahane, Smith, Marsh, Dhoni, Perara looks a formidable top 6.. Bhatia, Ashwin, Ashwin, Dinda will form 8 to 11.. Will need to find a good Indian hitter at 7... Is Tiwary the best they have? sscomp32 1

MI have always blocked some players and benched them so that other team cant play him. guptill will be on bench whole season. And for no 7 indian batsman.
