Congress. It's an official State of Karnataka celebration. BJP and Christian orgs are going to oppose, but this is the second year in a row. They faced a lot of backlash last year as well, but when Congress wants to celebrate a mass murderer, no one can stop them.

What's funny is Siddaramaiah claims to be an Atheist. Apparently atheists now celebrate Islamists.

UP election this time. Last time was Bihar election. You know who they are trying to woo.

It seems to me that in K'taka they are trying to exclusively woo Muslims and are hoping that the JD(S) will woo the Vokkaligas and cut into BJP votes. Won't work. There is a very high anti-incumbency wave in K'taka.

It's so bizarre. Why not celebrate Ashfaqullah Khan, an actual great person, whose birthday was recent iirc.

  • The UPA government was pressuring the National Intelligence Agency's top bosses to implicate Bhagwat for 'Hindu terror' related activities
  • The officers were under direct orders from UPA ministers, including then home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, to secure Bhagwat's custody for interrogation

explosive file notings dating back to the last few months of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government that clearly suggest that it was working overtime to trap Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwatin the countrywide 'Hindu terror web.'

In the aftermath of extremist violence in Ajmer and Malegaon, the UPA government had coined the "Hindu terror" theory and was pressuring the National Intelligence Agency's (NIA's) top bosses to implicate Bhagwat, Times Now has learnt.
