Jadeja can be better used with the bat

Jadeja is too good a batsmen for no 9 position. If u watch the SA tour and now this NZ match, he mostly ran out of partners.....he deserves to bat at no 7 for india in Test matches.....

Moreover , there is not even a single left hand batsmen in the current set-up.....

^ That's better - rather than be stubborn mule. Good he didn't "stick to same order" and instead sent Ravindra Jadeja up the order.

 

Exception: Virat Kohli is sorta stubborn about No.Hit Sharma in Test squad/Test XI

Manish Pandey deserves to replace him.

Jadeja was sent up the order as quick runs were needed and  Jaddu can score more quickly against  spinners compared to Ashwin and Saha.

 

Ashwin and Saha will probably bat ahead if pacers are the threat  or if quick runs are not needed.

Not on pitches which aid faster bowlers.    Jaddu averages 24 in test matches after today and 32 in ODIs.
