Uthappa Rocks Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 I just think they should refuse to play under bucknor otherwise they wont play
fineleg Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Just cancel the darn series. Let the injured players recover, and others can relax and train for future series. Just get this tamasha over right away.
Rajiv Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 How the hell did PP come in here, we have our joint here Dont go there and raise your BP
Desi Cartman Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 breaking news India TV....so take it with a pinch of salt....:D They are punjab kesari of News on TV
Guest HariSampath Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 As a mark of protest, we should recall our top players and send a replacement A team instead. That way we will get some exposure for our A team players and we will also have effectively closed out this test series as a competitive one.
fineleg Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 I hope this news is true. If so, I salute Kumble. if not, disappointed that this is just rumor.

No "mark of protest". Just protest and get out of Aus.
Dhondy Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 How the hell did PP come in here, we have our joint here Dont go there and raise your BP Just like Pakistan did?
Rajiv Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Beetle, I am watching NDTV Kumble: Only one team was playing in the right spirit Kumble: It hurts, but you can't take it too hard Kumble: BCCI is looking into the mater, we need to be focussed on the game I don't see how the boycott thing came in here?
Rajiv Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Just like Pakistan did? Yes, but you are talking abt a diff site My point was to say what they did when they were screwed, I don't see the relevance ------------ There are dozen other sites, LOL, irony is that we are affiliated with an aussie one too

Bollocks!!! You gotta take it too hard, and get the heck out of Aus. Show them we won't play in unfair setups.
beetle Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Arrey baba...local news channels are showing it...that why I wrote...take it with a pinch of salt.:D
Dhondy Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Won't make the slightest difference to the quality of umpiring. You are under huge pressure in Australia to adjudicate in favour of the home team. If you haven't realised it yet, most umpires find the Aussie players intimidating, just as other sides do. I can't think of any umpire who has officiated there and come out looking good- Koertzen, Dar, Bowden...they have all wilted under pressure. Look, when in doubt, it's so much easier to rule in favour of the top dog- it's a human failing- nothing we can do about that except bring in the TV camera, as has been dicussed here ad nauseum.
Uthappa Rocks Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 they should defenetly not run away. That is the wrong mentality, weak peoples mentality. I just think we should refuse to play if bucknor is umpiring simple as. so if bucknor is umpiring perth, then we refuse to play, and if he isnt umpiring in adelaide we play
DesiChap Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 FACK the apology NO apology can and should be accepted
beetle Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 I don't think an apology is enough. Every tom dick and harry is apologising these days.It doesn't help.Besides this one wasn't about mistakes...it was delibrate attempt to give a helping hand to the aussies.

Very true ..said in my earlier post, congratulation coz they do everything right to get the decisions in their favour, no matter how ridiculous they are In our hearts, their victories have a bug but officially they are champs Can't do much about it, a bigger giant has to crush them
