Yes thats why both should have played this series .

The question should have been Yuvraj vs Pandey rather than Jadhav

Question is not whether we should have Pandey or Kedar. We should have both of them. We have one passenger in the team in the form of Yuvraj, who should not be in the team.

Pandey would have played  this series had he batted a bit more responsibly in the 5 match ODI series against NZ.   He threw his wicket away 3 times out of 5 innings and  never crossed 30 in the whole series.

 

Bad form is acceptable but captains don't like batters who throw their wickets away.

AGreed, he is not in form, but we need to give a longer rope to players who have performed abroad , and not rely on oldies who show flashes of brilliance. Like Rahane for tests, nobody should drop him because he is v good abroad. Similar to Rohit in ODIs.
