Jadhav averaged 45 ,Pandey just 19 in the Newzealand series.Pandey wasted his chances in NZL series,Jadhav used the 2-3 chances he got.So I think team management have put him ahead of Pandey i think

Agree with the age and potential would have preferred Pandey

Please look at the scores of Jadhav.

Does it make sense to have 32 year old Jadhav over 27 year old Pandey?Their ODI avgs are pretty same. Both didnt have a good NZ series with the bat.Common sense dictates you take the younger guy.

You worry too much about age. The other day you were calling  Panchal old, who is just 26 years old. We are playing what? Tippy Tippy Tap that this game of cricket is just for 20-25 year olds?

if you are fit and even though you are in your 30s, I will pick you. Simple as that.

If Jadhav is scoring runs, than he gets the nod ahead of all.

Age is not just a number. With age your reflexes become poor.Jadhav will be 34 when we play the next world cup in England.

Panchal is 26,avgs 43 in FC.SO yes he is too old to be considered as a India prospect.

who cares he averages 43? That is his old average and no one is bringing Panchal in team now. If he performs like this again and does well next year too, we need to get such guys in India A at least.

If some player is failing all of a sudden then based on old numbers, no one is retained, then why do we change the criteria for someone who needs to be selected when his 43 average is the one from previous years. Go by the present form, If someone is consistently doing well over two years, then he needs to make the Indian 2nd x1.

and calling a 26 year old is a joke. Hussey made debut at 31. Learn something.

Can you name a few batsman who got in the Indian test team while avging less than 50 in FC?2 have in last 20 years and both failed.Someone can be in good form for 1-2 seasons, doesnt make him a Indian prospect.

Hussey is Australian, their system works differently. They are now learning the bad affects of picking old players who can at the most give 4-5 years to the team.Thats why Adam Voges is now not in the team. They have learnt, may be you should also.

Lol@bad affects. They had players who retired and thats about it and some who did not do as well.

The new players they picked, it's not that they have been scoring a lot of runs from few years. They were just recently impressive and got lucky that Australian team went for overhaul after a poor home series against South Africa.

And regarding naming few bats, is this writen in come constitution that if you average 40 in first few years of domestic career , you shouldn't be picked for India A side ever even if you have few good back to back seasons.

Change the thinking.
