Who is the best spinner in LOIs?

I think Imran Tahir has been the best LOI spinner for the past 2-3 years.

 

The guy is such an underrated performer for SA that you hardly see fans talking about him even though he averages 23.05 with the ball with an Eco. rate of 4.61 in ODIs. Even in T20Is he his eco. rate is 6.39.

Although, his record against India is pretty average (8 wickets in 7 ODIs @ 38.25 ) Definitely can't argue with the overall stats.

 

 

What do you guys think? Is there a better spin bowler going around?

And he's nearly 38. In official years that is. Since he's born in Pakistan, he's probably actually 41-42. Very good bowler.

Yes, realy pity that he would probably not play even 100 ODIs before retiring.

Tahir was murdered in the previous game by Tharanga and Co.  He benefits from the disciplined protea attack around him, and the batting juggernaut that always puts big runs behind him.  

 

He's not bad, but take away scoreboard pressure, and put the onus on him, and watch the full-tosses and long-hops fly to the boundary.  

 

Best LOI legspinner in the game?  There's only one - Mishra, @mit Mishra.

Honestly no one. Spinners are murdered every alternate match in ODI's nowadays.Tahir's been doing great recently but not sure how long its gonna last.
