kubrickian Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 (edited) Its not scripted, guys. They take themselves way too seriously to do something like that and they dont need any extra publicity. This is a huge embarrassment to them. 35 million people around the world watch Oscars every year. This is not like a film fare awards type show. Its got 90 years history behind it. kubrickian Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 (edited) La La Land is not like the average Bollywood movie where they throw dance numbers and music videos randomly in the middle just for the sake of it. Its a musical in the best way possible, where there are songs and dances but they fit into the overall theme of the situation, character, story, mood etc. But Moonlight was much better than La La Land and deserved Best Picture.
