After winning 2 games against an unbeatable MI Pune's confidence skyrocketed and they reached no. 2. MI once again saw that they can beat SRH or KKR themselves in eliminator easily but doing this will be difficult for their younger brothers so they again made a sacrifice and did let Pune go through qualifier. It is like Hector going for the fight against Achillies safeguarding Paris. Talking in context of IPL. Mumbai Indians are 10 years old. Pune only 2 years. One brother was killed by evil Srinivasan at the age of 3. Mumbai has more money established set up better talent lots of trophies etc. Pune are still trying finding their feet.
