Gavaskar when not obsessing over milestones is one of the best cricketing analysts out there...on one hand we keep gushing over boycott etc on their Yorkshire accent or even someone like David Lloyd who doesn't offer much from a cricketing analysis pov even though must say his wit is unparalleled.

 

Who better than to talk about the game than the maestro himself...probably the most accomplished cricketer who is a full time commentator in world cricket...who else is even close?

 

yeah he has his flaws or bias but when it comes to cricket acumen when the master speaks you listen and your cricketing acumen may just go up by a notch.
