mishra
This thread is not about Team India. This thread is about Assesment of opposition and their chances. Only when we assess the opposition, then we are more realistic about Team India Chances and more can go into our own planning/selection. I hope BCCI coaches/Think tank are not ignoring it. To begin with I will start with Team Australia as you can never rule out Kangaroos despite their poor show against English. Probable playing 11 squad will include David Warner Aaron Finch Usman Khwaza Steven Smith (C) Glen Maxwell Mitchel Marsh Paine(WK) Starc Hazlewood Ciummins Lyon Standby (Zampa,Stoinis, Head,Henriques,Coulternile and few more) Based on experience, Rarely Homework is defeated in Sports if the teams are similar quality UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment
Lannister
I think you will see quite a few youngsters debuting for Australia in a year. Their batting talent is really good. Some of the best young players are McDermott, Jack Edwards, Bryant, Chris Green and Josh Philippe. UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment

They bat till 9 comfortable (Australia 8) and have 5 frontline bowlers and a 6th bowler if necessary (Maxwell, Duminy). To match that India need to go with: KL Rahul Dhawan Kohli Rayudu MSD Jadhav Jadeja Chahar Bhuvi Kuldeep Bumrah How is it matching when you have Rayudu, Dhoni, Jadhav, Jadeja, Chahar and Bhuvi bowling has has two trundlers in Chahar and Bhuvi. Jadeja’s bowling will not be as useful in Eng as in Asia. Lower order batting has only 1 big hitter in Jadhav, who is likely to be inconsistent and may even struggle vs stronger teams Thank you for the laughs though! Jamadagni
That's not going to be probable XI. Below one is... Finch(C) Warner Smith Shaun Marsh Maxwell Alex Carey(wk) Agar Starc Cummins Hazzlewood Stanlake They might drop Stanlake and go with Stoinis to strengthen batting.
