Number
I think it should be the same team. Shami can be rested and Pandey can be tried. Jaddu and Ashwin's places should be swapped depending on the match situations. Link to comment
Marut
No...this is what you call the result of sleeping with dogs... 1.NZC joins hands with BCCI 2.Hapless indian players find it difficult to win a match on their own. 3.BCCI flexes its muscles. 4.In the mid way of the series decider NZ players suddenly start dropping easy catches, missing regulation stumpings, run outs. 5.India "miraculously" saves the match and keep the series alive.. Feel bad for for the common NZ cricket fan. They'd be thinking they just saw a great cricket match...Hopefully they'll understand the reality after a few more of these "miracles",just the way us SL fans did when SL "lost" the WC to IND... India anyday better than fifth day Srilankan specialists. Link to comment

SLICKR392
Rahane is really not ideal at 4. He could build a foundation for us but not the right candidate to lend us a boost when the RR is down while chasing such targets. Yuvraj at #4 could knock it around for a while, go berserk and also play the finishing role. His all round batting performance is being missed big time. Link to comment

SLICKR392
Rahane has struggled as opener too. Rohit is okay if he plays like today.atleast not wasting balls.must play Rayudu at 4 though But don't you think he should be given another chance at opening? Rohit got plenty of shots and Rahane might be more confident now than he was before after that good period in SA. But someone aggressive and attacking should be in the other end of Rahane or Pujara. That's why we should stick with Dhawan for now. Link to comment

He is a better T20 and Test player but Kohli looked like he never belonged to Test as well. Will learn through experience but yeah, he isn't required in the ODI setup. Yuvi's form is a massive set back for us. Hopefully he storms back through the WT20. Link to comment

Yuvi is a massive player to have if he recovers some of his form.always steps up in WCs Honestly I felt he was dropped too soon.Raina sucked for longer period Link to comment

ThePhenomenal1
Batsmen save u the matches, bowlers win them. Its a 50-50 effort but it showed today.. had bhuvi caught that ball, im sure india would have won. Same for the first two odis, the total was much higher than it should have been Link to comment
BeautifulGame
Rohit got 100 ODIs to prove he is useless in the middle order but Rahane isnt suited to no.4 position after just 4 ODI (All of which were high pressure chases away from home) .Thats insane. He deserves atleast 12-15 ODIs to settle and prove his worth in the middle order. One good thing with Dhoni's stubbornness is he sticks with and gives them a long run.Think Rahane will get atleast till the England series to prove his quality Link to comment

He was even dropped after one single test. Even Dhoni knows that people will probably call him a retard to his face if he drops Rahane after his exploits in the South Africa test series.
