  1. Fascinating how the human mind works.
  2. Pro government media entities existed forever. Not Godi media. If you really think media was the same pre 2014, what can I say
  3. So he keeps leaving all the balls that are to be square cut? How did he manage to handle that in ODIs in his prime?
  4. Maybe there is some misunderstanding. Kohli does dabs well. That's one of his staple shots back then when chasing big targets. To rotate strike. Even before 2015.
  5. So for the backfoot punch...kohli leaves the ball. For a ball that needs to be square cut..what does he do? Does he leave that ball too?
  6. Every ahole has a PR team. Whats crazy is PR teams can fabricate complete lies and people would believe them.
  7. Indian team reminds me of Trump administration just before 2020 elections. Top tier God level circus
  8. Happiest person Ashwin. Great escape. I think once RoKo leave, team will settle down. Doesnt mean they will necessary do well in Eng but atleast it wont be the circus its now.
  9. I am aware of the reason. Thats why its disgusting. Bootlickers of money. Modern day slaves. Its BCCIs job to drop the non performers by empowering the selectors.
  10. Find it disgusting to watch experts (and the BCCI) hint at Rohit's retirement while remaining silent about Kohli. Its sooo unfair. If anything, in the last 5 years, Rohit the test bat was far more valuable to the country. Yet Rohit is the only one getting humiliated while Kohli gets to escape (only fans are screaming for his removal...not the people who matter).
  11. Excellent take. I recommend Rohit to be captain for the Eng away series.
  12. Jaddu was in incredible form. Ashwin wasn't but somehow held it together. And then the Kuldeep masterclass when both failed in Dharmshala first innings.
  13. - You are massively under-estimating the mindset part. 2020-21 was a battle of WILL over skill. - Also, Pant's Gabba was an absolute masterclass. The first half and second half of his innings were completely different. Yes, he had luck there and he did play a needless aerial shot in the final stages of the game (which could have cost us the series) but by and large, that Pant knew when to attack and when to defend and didn't needlessly attempt crazy shots. -Of course, none of my points were comparing 2017 with 2021. 2017 might have been of higher quality cos Aus was more well prepared. The biggest factor in 2017 was Ashwin carried an injury which made the series competitive. Incredible series tho.
  14. Bcci started operating like BJP long before BJP even came to power. Thanks to Srini mama. Commentary = Godi media You can choose any colour as long as its black (aka no direct criticism of bcci, selectors and imp players).
  15. Yes but mindset is a very very underrated aspect. When men are pushed into a corner, driven by cause that's greater than themselves.. They are capable of feats that is beyond the realms of what they could normally do. Its like what adrenaline can do to you. I dont give a **** if i die but im not gonna let my team down and im gonna take my opponent down with me... Take a look at what Pujara did to eliminate even the teeny tiny bit of chance of his dismissal... You are gonna hit my body and bruise me but i aint giving up my wicket... That's what is special about men. When that's triggered, men become unstoppable. 2020-21 BGT was that kind of series for India. Even before Gabba, everyone was saying that no matter which Indian player is selected, they are gonna come firing on all cylinders. Such was the aura around the team. With some luck and some incredible guts, we became part of (arguably) the greatest test series ever.
  16. There is no question of removing Pant. He is still our best test batsman. Needs to be guided tho.
  17. Cos test match is played over 5 days. You plan for all 5 days. Anyways, that's another topic.
