That is pretty interesting. Except for the fact that Lutyens Insider has now been ousted as an AAP troll disguised a BJP person. The oldest trick in the social media book.
The posts where he sarchastically pretends to be an AAP supporter did not fool anyone except a few desperate and delusional namo cheergirls . Similar to when people post fake Tweets of Paki Gen Hameeeeed Gul expressing his support for AAP.:haha:

Death of a journalist, and silence of the celeb journalists OpIndia Editor / June 10, 2015 / Opinions

A journalist Jagendra Singh was burnt alive in Uttar Pradesh allegedly because he posted some news reports about illegal mining and land grabbing by a local Samajwadi Party leader Ram Murti Verma, who also happens to be a minister in Akhilesh Yadav cabinet. The murderous attack on Jagendra took on 1st June but it came to national light only yesterday. That too, because some people on Twitter decided to play up the news report about his murder, which was otherwise not given a prominent place on the homepages of leading news portals, or on the front page of national newspapers, or a few minutes of high pitch debate on national TV channels. In such a scenario, the question arises – why was this apathy shown towards a person of their own fraternity by leading journalists? Most people, especially those highlighting this on social media, argue that the reason is because the accused is not from BJP. Our celeb journalists see an attack on journalism only when the erring party is the BJP, else everyone knows how “they crawled when asked to bend” during the Emergency clamped by Congress. While there is a truth to this political and ideological bias among celeb journalists, the primary reason is not just politics. Journalist Jagendra Singh Not a martyr in the eyes of our celeb journalists? It is class. Yes. The same “class” that a celeb journalist Rajdeep Sardesai talked about when physically assaulting an NRI in New York. “Paisa aa gaya per class nahi aaya”, he had said. Poor journalists like Jagendra Singh are deemed to have neither paisa (money) nor class by Delhi based celeb journalists, so their death is just a footnote in the annals of Lutyens journalism. They don’t have money because Indian media industry is hugely exploitative where big money is only for the big bosses. How will they get salaries in crores if they don’t hire interns for free or keep some ‘middle level’ editors slogging without similar pay raises? And they don’t have class (in the eyes of celeb journalists) because they can’t speak accented English or have family ties with “influential people”. The travesty is that celeb journalists get all the money and fame while it is the poor “classless” journalists like Jagendra Singh (who are either independent local journalists or reporters working for paltry salaries), who do the groundwork and indulge in real journalism, get penury and anonymity, and sometimes, death. Gone are the days when journalists like Sucheta Dalal (who exposed Harshad Mehta scam) and Chitra Subramaniam (who exposed Bofors scam) used to do groundwork themselves. Now is the era where celeb journalists just pontificate and freeload over the work done by poor faceless reporters. Even after the advent of RTI, hardly any of these celeb journalists used the tool to expose any wrongdoings or scam. We have a group of faceless people called “RTI activists” (who too are killed like Jagendra Singh was killed), and their work is “stolen” by our celeb journalists. Shouldn’t our media organizations have been the real RTI activists? But why will they risk their lives and risk “relationships” with political honchos when there are Jagendras willing to do some real groundwork, whose work can always be freeloaded upon by the mainstream media? Our established media and celebrity journalists know that their power and fame (and salaries) are dependent on these real hardworking people living in obscurity and penury; that is why they are scared of making heroes out of Jagendra. And that is the reason for apathy. No need to make a hero out of Jagendra and accord him that “class” that is reserved only for the Lutyens journalists. That is why their concern for Jagendra won’t go beyond a token tweet. There will not be a string of op-eds or any silent marches. There will not be a long lasting TV campaign seeking justice. And yes, no celeb journalist will feel threatened due to this mafia-like-murder, because this is not as bad as some random tweet containing abusive words – the only risk the celeb journalists face in their profession. The real risks are faced by faceless and nameless and “classless” Jagendras.

Outrageous. I hope our jounos unite in pursuing this case. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/Journalist-burnt-alive-UP-minister-cops-charged/articleshow/47607739.cms
Uttar Pradesh minister in charge of dairy development, Ram Murti Verma, has been charged with murder after a Shahjahanpur-based journalist, who had mounted on social media a relentless campaign again him, died of burn injuries late Monday evening. Jagendra Singh, his family alleged on Tuesday, was set on fire by a bunch of cops and goons sent by Verma on June 1, at his house. The scribe had been struggling for life for the past week at a hospital in Lucknow. Singh had written extensively about the plight of an Aganwadi worker who had told a court recently that she had been gang-raped by the minister and some of his henchmen. In his dying declaration, cops said, the journalist blamed Verma for ordering the attack and narrated how a similar attempt had been made on his life on April 28.
Who am i kidding? They havent even bothered to find out name , of the worker for whom this journo died.

It all depends on who killed him. If someone like Wagle dies mysterious death tomorrow all hell will break lose and BJP will be held guilty without even trial. Sometimes I think the brazen partisanship that BJP faces from media is unmatchable for any political party worldwide.

Good point. If one is a minority or had it been in a BJP state, by default BJP & Modi would have been pronounced as guilty and would become "breaking news". And this is why there is so many anger against MSM. Their reaction is based only on the color/religion of the person. There are no tears for Hindu victims.

Perhaps for the first time in India has a prime minister been scrutinised and dissected so thoroughly after one year in power. Is it because he promised ‘achche din’ during the campaign and so people expected good days to come from the very day of him assuming office? No. The unadmitted truth is that the media hates him and they will always hate him. They were the ones who said this man was a Hitler and had killed 4000 Muslims; they later reduced it to 2000 and now it (the toll) stands at 1000. A shameless media pretending to be neutral targeted him for 12 years. Some of them went to the extent of creating the suspicion that the Godhra tragedy was enacted by Modi to justify killing Muslims! This fraudulent theory was assisted by a United Progressive Alliance-sponsored commission of inquiry which said the tragedy was an accident, not a conspiracy. They demonised the man so much and so continuously that the foreign media began echoing the Indian media, and the foreign media xerox copying the demonisation of Modi by Indians became news here as the foreign media too was calling him a demon! It is the foreign-funded NGOs-Indian media alliance, the most deadly and immoral alliance, that started the campaign against Modi and kept targeting him for over a decade. You mean the English media? It is the English media that dominates and the language media is only a shadow of the English media, even though it is several times bigger. Opinions are created by the English-speaking elite media and many of them have nothing to do with the real India but these are the people who set the agenda for India and inform the world. No foreign media will quote a language media even though it might command a readership much higher than the English media. The NGO which worked in conspiracy with the Indian media proclaimed that they got the Americans to deny visa to Modi! Every prime minister from Jawarharlal Nehru to Indira Gandhi to Rajiv Gandhi to P V Narasimha Rao to A B Vajpayee commanded goodwill in India and outside. In the case of Vajpayee, the media said the Jan Sangh was bad, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh was bad, but Vajpayee was good. But you take the case of Modi, the moment he was proclaimed as the PM candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party, 60 members of Parliament, including communists, wrote to the president of the USA to be firm on the visa issue. The Economist magazine wrote, ‘we cannot be persuaded to support this man’. See the kind of hatred they had generated then within India which echoed outside. And the man comes to power! Can you imagine the deficit he had to cover? Trust deficit and legitimacy deficit of the victorious Modi transformed into national discredit of having elected a leader with such deficits. But in one year, he has completely overturned the situation. Has any newspaper written one word on this? First, the foreign media said he would never have good relations with his neighbours. In one move, by calling all the Saarc leaders for his swearing-in, he demolished it. It was such a brilliant strategy. How many in the media appreciated this? They couldn't tolerate that he has come to power in spite of them. Now about the kind of scrutiny he had to go through. Modi has been elected for five years, and he was supposed to do certain things in five years. But newspapers are writing editorials asking, tell us what have you done in one year? I can understand an immature person like Rahul Gandhi asking this. But to see editors calling themselves great intellectuals saying what Rahul Gandhi says, speaks of their credibility. http://www.rediff.com/news/interview/modi-one-s-gurumurthy-speaks-modi-has-set-right-his-and-indias-image-abroad/20150612.htm
A part of the article talks about our MSM. Good piece.

Here. Indian media missed this completely while discussing Myanmar operation and its implications

Modi’s phone call SOMETIMES, all it takes is a phone call or a handshake to change — temporarily — the tone and tenor of the dysfunctional India-Pakistan relationship. The last few weeks had been marked by shrill vitriol emanating mostly from the Indian side, which has been matched by equally zealous remarks from Pakistan. However, thankfully for all those in South Asia who are put off by such brinksmanship and favour the path of peace, temperatures were brought down a few notches on Tuesday when Narendra Modi called Nawaz Sharif to extend Ramazan greetings before the advent of the fasting month. Know more: Modi calls Nawaz, extends wishes for Ramazan Mr Modi talked of the need for “peaceful, friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries”, while Mr Sharif replied in a similarly positive tone. The Indian leader also announced the release of Pakistani fishermen detained in India, which Nawaz Sharif reciprocated with an order to release Indian fishermen detained here. The good wishes and bonhomie are a welcome departure from the toxic atmosphere that until very recently was prevailing in South Asia. Earlier this month while on a visit to Dhaka, Mr Modi made impolitic remarks regarding the tragedy of 1971, which expectedly caused an uproar in Pakistan. Some of the members of Narendra Modi’s cabinet have made even more outrageous statements; one junior minister suggested India could cross the western (ie Pakistani) border in case of “disturbances” in the aftermath of a reported Indian raid into Myanmar, while in May, the Indian defence minister said his country would counter terrorism with terrorism. Early in May, the Pakistani military had claimed RAW was involved in fomenting trouble in this country. Thankfully, this war of sound bites seems to have subsided due to Mr Modi’s call. Yet this was not a Pakistan-specific gesture; the Indian prime minister also extended Ramazan greetings to the Bangladeshi and Afghan leaders, in effect wishing well the leaders of Saarc’s Muslim-majority states. The events of the recent past illustrate how necessary it is for Pakistan and India to address the many underlying problems in their relationship in a constructive, long-lasting manner. Mechanisms must be evolved so that provocations do not derail the peace process and channels of communication are always kept open. We hope there will be no more inflammatory statements and jingoism. Instead, the respective leaderships in New Delhi and Islamabad must put their heads together and formulate a plan that can address each other’s concerns and pave the way for long-term peace in the subcontinent.

A Self-Described sycophantic admirer of his Colonial masters , Dasgupta yearns to be fed more Govt Propaganda to counter the charges of corruption against Raje and Swaraj

The adverse headlines the government has been attracting in recent times appear to stem from its failure to make the narrative correspond with the larger political shifts in India. There has been a failure of political messaging whose impact is also being felt in the markets. As of now, the fall-out is limited to the domestic markets but unless the trend is checked it will begin to affect international perceptions as well.
