I googled it.

After the first paragraph of the wiki page i have an answer....

Yes! Afl is better than kabaddi

Don't read wiki entries to judge a game. Watch the Indian Kabaddi League and then decide. There are Aussie players too. After IPL, it is the most popular league in India.

Ideally the FTP says we should be going to WI for ODIs and T20s followed by a trip to zimbabwe again ... Then we are scheduled to play a full series in SRL before hosting AUS for ODIs ... That is supposed to be followed up with a series against PAK after which we should go to SAF but since the PAK series may not happen and the SAFFERS have cancelled their plans to host SRL, we may end up going there sooner than later ... We are then supposed to host SRL for a full series in India which may be cut short to accommodate the Nidahas trophy which was announced recently.

So, basically the only good series to look forward to next season is our tour of SAF.

in the last overseas series in SA Eng Aus with a young team we actually improved over previous tour which was such a disaster. Batsmen showed ability to fight in tough conditions at times. It was the fast bowlers however who seemed to be really falling short in conditions they can enjoy. They were not really accurate or creating enough chances. Did not help that spinners did not show up at all.

Our success will depend on how this bowling attack does. We need to ensure our fast bowlers are fighting fit and our spinners prepare for different conditions accordingly. We need to have a good healthy bowling squad.

Umesh has had a grueling season. Hope he gets good time to recover and continue the good work. Hope we do a good job of getting Shami back fighting fit. We probably need couple of more names - Aaron and some of the younger bowlers need to be rotated in the squad. Bench strength needed.

Really hope Jadeja and Ashwin have learnt with experience and are better overall bowlers.

It is fun sport to follow, just like NFL. Howthorn and St Kilda are the teams to follow :).

But yeah NFL is a little more fun.

Meh...college football is so so so much better. Especially if you can go to those games.

That's funny actually. The Australian team in the Kabaddi World Cup actually had retired Afl players participating.
