SPEED & PERFORMANCE OF FAST BOWLERS N TRUNDLERS IN 2017 IPL

I still doubt if bhuvi can retain 137+ speed for all his 10 overs in odi.

I am sure he can't retain same pace for 15 overs a day in test.

He is bowling 142k Yorkers n even 141k line n length balls n getting wickets n not getting hit.

Its OK if he don't retain it I'm test matches, see express bowling's post he did pointed out that his length ball and short balls aren't as pacy as his fuller ones, actually if kohli use him wisely say if he uses him in short spells like 3overs with new ball 3 in the middle and 4 in the death the he may retain his pace

Watched Shardul Thakur yesterday and he was the worst pacer in the match. The guy didn't have anything TBH - not fast, no variety and no control. How he's the standby for the CT defies belief.

Yesterday was probably an off day for Shardul. He did bowl well in the previous games that he played. Bowled with good Pace, accuracy, yorkers and mixed up some good slower ones.

I hope for India's sake that yesterday was an off day and that our first choice players don't get injured coz I saw Thakur bowl and was wondering what all the fuss was about. He was mostly in 130s with no swing or seam movement, no change in length either and was as predictable as they come. Probably there's a good reason he sat on the bench for most of IPL as based on yesterday's showing it would be tough to get him into the starting XI.

Bro, I hope you watched Siraj's 2nd spell where he picked up 4 wickets ?

His last over was especially interesting with classic inswing fast bowling.

Watched the highlights bro. Yeah that was some good fast inswing bowling. Does Siraj have a good outswinger or can he bowl the one that holds its line?

He can bowl the outswinger...saw it in FC but has not used it in the IPL.

Can bowl the line holding delivery too.

Nathu Singh looks ready for international LOI but is injury prone.

Shardul Thakur Should be tried at test level due to his ouswinger.

Thampi needs few seasons has control over Yorker but to improve his accuracy.

Siraj has been really impressive with his skiddy deliveries .One to look out for next season.

Sandeep Sharma-Has good head on his shoulders but needs to improve his pace and stamina.

Aniket Rajput looks like a good replacement for ishant Sharma.

Superb bowling by Hardik Pandya today.

2 wickets for only 22 runs off 4 overs, bowled the last over too and won it for his team.

Speeds of 133 k to 143 k. Some good bouncers and yorkers.

Got some seam movement.

The ball that got Grandhomme was a peach. A 139 k delivery that zipped off the deck, seamed in and bowled him.

It showcases that Rohit has underutilized him in this tournament.

Probably not because Mumbai mostly had good death bowlers in the form of Malinga and McClenagan. The spinners such as Bhajji, Krunal or Karan Sharma were pretty good (until the last match vs KXIP) and hence there is not much scope of playing Hardik. Hardik also used to go for lots of runs in the few overs he bowled. In this match he bowled surprisingly well and is definitely better than all the pace bowlers playing today.

So, good improvement and if he could continue such performances, he will be given more opportunities.

Hardik has bowled lots of overs playing for India and done reasonably well in the last 7 months or so.

So, his bowling potential was not unknown.

He has not shined in this IPL as he was not getting into rhythm because of bowling very few overs.

Shardul bowled superbly today....

Shardul is going great and he bowls 134 to 143k..he got one wicket on a bouncer..unadkat caught as it was a mishit.

Second was also nearly a bouncer.

Third wicket was a leg flick but a bit of a mishit as he bowled around 140k.
