Umesh's ability to get bounce has improved a lot in the last 7 months or so starting from the 5th test against England

This is what I wanted to see and he has became a much better and hostile bowler as a result ( along with his improved accuracy ).

Umesh finishes with 2 for only 21 runs in 4 overs.

Top performance in a crucial knockout match.

Bodes well for our CT team.

tempting to play him ahead of Shami given he doesnt look in touch

Umesh showing his class again today on a low slow turner he banged the ball hard got steep bounce with pace, and again as he always do got the crucial wicket of youraj at the crucial time which was the difference between srh reaching 150 and 128.

Interesting comments by Ajay Jadeja on TV while talking about Md.Siraj.

He said that he does not look at the number of wickets taken while trying to pick an exciting talent from T20s... because many of the wickets are as a result of batsmen trying to hit a bowler.

Ajay said that he looks at the pace of a bowler and his quality...can he bowl quick yorkers, quick bouncers, is he bowling the knuckle ball, what is the quality of the deliveries bowled by him etc.

I agree 100%.... and frankly speaking almost all international cricketers think this way.

It was refreshing to hear.
