express bowling Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 Really enjoyed the way Hardik Pandya batted yesterday. He took a few balls to get set, played some punchy drives for 1s in those deliveries. Then he hit four 6s and one 4 in the final over. He watched the ball carefully and did not try to go for premeditated wild swings. Liked the maturity he showed and the power he displayed while hitting a pacer. His hitting ability is indisputable. MechEng, Laaloo and tweaker 3

He was always a master on pitches with true bounce or high bounce and he displayed that again. Very high SR innings filled with strokes off pacers. Sidhoni 1

With two slots for pacers in the T20 XI, Bumrah and Sandeep look to be the best bet.. I haven't seen much of Thampi or Kejroliya... Want to see how they do in the IPL before I swap them for Sandeep in my XI. tweaker 1
