Even Haroon Logart wants to make Indians his slave

Is Lorgot right on his stance about BCCI should confirm South Aftican tour first

22 members have voted

  1. 1. Should BCCI confirm the tour?

    • Yes, BCCI must gve them confirmation for the tour.
    • Not needed, they backstabbed us in the voting. They can keep their players in South Africa, we don't want them in IPL
    • For the sake of Test Cricket, BCCI should confirm tour
    • Both parties should make some truce. Both International cricket and IPL need to be respected.

But you tell me what is India's problem in playing the Boxing Day test in SA this year? Are they playing somewhere else? Do they have to confirm their own home series year too? If so when? I am unaware of this development. Please tell me.

BCCi hasn't confirmed any series. They are supposed to play odi series at home with Australia, before South African tour, and  untillthey come up with the dates, they will not accept South African tour dates. They have been always unprofessional about fixtures.

Can't support bcci here. They should give confirmation to CA about tour dates. Can't have them hanging like this.

BCCI has a Pakistan tour pre programmed for Nov -Dec .

If that series is cancelled , it's BCCI prerogative to arrange any tour that they want .Like they have done with by arranging Kiwis tour.

The question is why are CSA announcing the tours and schedule without consulting BCCI .

BCCI isnt obliged to confirm dates months in advance .That too when it clashes with their schedule .

If anyone is at fault here it is CSA.

No we are reading too much into that.

BCCI, might want to arrange a series but then India are supposed to tour South Africa too, and being host, they have to let South African board know also about when they are coming etc.

Because as a host, they have to plan for tickets and venues etc.  No one is telling them to give exact dates but confirming a time frame is important for away teams as it helps the hosts.

BCCI has every right to organize its series, but according to FTP, they should confirm the south african tour too.

Time frame is already there ,January.8ts ready confirmed India tour is in January.FTP also shows it.Whats there to confirm ?

But CSA want to move it to December and schedule India in their boxing day test.

Why should India cut short it's home season for SA ?

And how did SA unilaterally announce four tests without confirming with the visiting board?

Because FTP says 4 tests with odis and t20s.  They are requesting BCCI to play Boxing day test, doesn't mean BCCI have to play Boxing day, they can always say "No" and schedule for later start and confirm the tour that way.

In the past both boards haven't had great negotiations and hence the series has been cut short to two test matches also and hence CSA wants to ensure there is no such thing this time.

Of course as boards they will make requests like playing Boxing day etc, but we can ignore that and still confirm the tour by negotiating different dates.

It is called being professional.

BCCI right now are in a siege mentality, defending when there is no one on offence. CSA guys are looking for their benefits, give them some and get some from them, its fair game. Comeon what is BCCI doing lol.

FTP can't dictate no of matches ,only the tour.

That's just tentative assumption.

It now shows 4 tests because CSA has announced it .So the question is how did CSA announce the tour without confirming without consulting BCCI .?

Negotiation is two way stuff. How is issuing dictact by asking to confirm or pull our players from IPL , negotiation?

Again what is there to negotiate ,when it's clear BCCI already has seperate home series planned for December.

Being professional is announcing the tour and matches without confirming with the visiting team ?

India tour is for January .CSA cancelled the December tour of Self and wants India to occupy that space forgoing their home season without consulting with either Srl board or BCCI .

This is professionalism and negotiation ?

Honestly, I am just fed up of writing or discussing anything about BCCI at this time.

Its so annoying, this whole mess. At the end of the day, everything is happening, we are still going to CT, we are going to go to South Africa too. So all this talk will be futile in the end.

Only thing which is not happening for sure is the Pakistan series in december:giggle:

I think i read news. Might have to google. We are playing Srilanka to commemorate something and then Newzealand. But Newzealand is defintely just before South Africa. ECB and CA are vying for a trilateral series somewhere in US.

No Kiwis r touring us in December.

SA tour in January

Then after that we play a trick series in Srilanka which is their indipendence cup

Posted
July-Sept 2017 India Tour of Sri Lanka (3 Test, 5 ODI, 2 T20) Sri Lanka
October 2017 Australia Tour of India (7 ODI and 2 T20)
Nov 2017 to Jan 2018 India Tour of South Africa (3 Test, 7 ODI, 2 T20) South Africa

Now, As per news, I think Srilanka most likely will get bigger tour. And Kiwis will have to fit in between that Australia and Africa Tour.

We don't know may be CSA approached BCCI, regarding Boxing day test and BCCi said probabaly yes earlier and hence they confirmed four tests?

Also CSA in december 2016 annouced that India and Australia both will tour them for 4 tests each so they would have done it by consulting CA and BCCI, just that dates weren't confirmed.

You and me have no idea what happens behind and how many emails are shared on regular basis between boards.  But it was 6 months ago when BCCI announced about Aus and India both touring hem for 4 tests each, means they would have consulted between them before the whole Chanpions Trophy pull out mess.

It is after CT pull out mess is when BCCI has been kind of distracted(nothing wrong with that).

That was next year in march for their anniversary. Not this year.

Dude there were quotes for Lorgat when he announced the India tour that we will confirm with BCCI later.

So there is no assumption.

India isnt supposed to tour SA in December.Lanka is supposed to tour. But CSA want to bump off Lanka and have India there.

Who gave CSA the right to announce that India will tour?

Now they want to blackmail bcci.I hope bcci makes sure that they dont play SA in december.

@cricketics take off your bcci hating glasses.

Not hating but you and me don't know what has been consulted in emails between caa and bcci in the past. They probably discussed about four test matches before like they did with Australi.

If BCCi is not blaming them about four test match announcement, then who are we? Unless you have access to BCCI's emails, then let me know.
