Even Haroon Logart wants to make Indians his slave

Is Lorgot right on his stance about BCCI should confirm South Aftican tour first

22 members have voted

  1. 1. Should BCCI confirm the tour?

    • Yes, BCCI must gve them confirmation for the tour.
    • Not needed, they backstabbed us in the voting. They can keep their players in South Africa, we don't want them in IPL
    • For the sake of Test Cricket, BCCI should confirm tour
    • Both parties should make some truce. Both International cricket and IPL need to be respected.

Dude there were quotes for Lorgat when he announced the India tour that we will confirm with BCCI later.

So there is no assumption.

It is assumption of course. You think cricket Australia tour of South africa also was announced like that then? They announced at the same time that Australia will be coming for four test matches too like India. No one is having issues with that.

Even BCCi hasn't raised any issue about playing four tests yet, they have just not confirmed the tour, thats all. We shouldn't be creating another story about CSA announcing 4 test without bcci's consultation.

How is it assumption when there are actual direct quotes available lol

It's not a story .It's just unprofessionalism from CSA.

Consulting isn't confirming.

The vote in ICC changed everything. Going into vote, Everyone assumed that they were value adding to BCCI, without realizing BCCI is actually doing the real work i.e. making money to run the Cricket.

Now, Even CoA seems to have given BCCI a free hand to deal with ICC governance issue. So every thing will happen, Just that BCCI want to get towards Big 1 model

Before South Africa's previous tour to India when they came here for four test matches, both boards had decided to make this an iconic series the Gandhi-Mandela trophy, and make it a regular four match series affair.

Just like India and England had decided on 5 matches during every tour.

So them announcing four test matche sis not unprofessional. You are just creatinf story out of no where. It has been decided earlier that both boards are pushing for iconic series of 4 test matches.

Yes, agreed and at the same time,to blame CSA that they came up with crazy announcement of four test matches is absolutely wrong. Both boards had agreed to make India-Sa series as a regular four match test series whenever a team tours the other.  We are creating another news for no reason when the whole discussion should be about the confirmation of the tour and not why CSA announced four test matches like how some have started doing in defense.

And do tell us how threatimening to pull out players if no confirmation of December tour is professionalism.

Now giving dictats is called professionalism?

They would have before the ICC Ct pull out mess. Hence they published like they did for Aus touring CSA for four test matches.

There in lies the problem. You want a iconic series then you behave like Iron brothers. I will be surprised if CA vote against ECB. Simply because they got iconic Ashes.

Nope, thats not professional either. Never called anyone in CSA professional.

I don't bend low so much that I protect CSA in every aspect. They suck too by coming up with such statements but I won't defend everything my board does, even if it is wrong. Thats not me. And at same time i won't call other boards like CSA wrong here everytime because my Indian board is kind of in fix right now.

Loyalty is one thing but blaming someone else for random reasons is wrong also.

Both boards need to get better at this.

I hate these crazy names honestly. Why use these names anyway. Just stick to India vs South Africa.

Actually, Anurag Thakur and co in BCCI came up with the silly idea perhaps.

Four test matches is good idea, naming such series is bad though.

How do you know they did not? I asked you first since you are the one questioning me that why csa came up with four test match announcement.

This series was going to be rival to Ashes one. I have allready posted on this forum. This ICC voting was a very well played moove by ECB and CA to ensure India plays more games and series against England and Australia. By product was ICC churning more money in name of Administrative expense. And offcourse, with IPL and popularity of Cricket, India was allways going to recoup those millions.

I think, other Boards will first whine, whinge, but will soon realise what hit them.

^ And thats why I say, ECB Mangers are way way ahead of the curve wrt Manohar's , Sheriyar, Lorgat and others. They foxed every Board who was in good Books of BCCI. Only Lankans stood their ground

add to that Giles was part of big three, and is next in line asfter Manohar goes, but has Manohar to front till the governance passes, and then he plans to sit on top and tell BCCI where and when Indian team plays, and Indian people payup. Nice plan for world domination.
