although Maxwell is a hack... Head is proper player

Very much a hit or miss hack.....I would never give such high praise to an Aussie as a proper player ☺☺

Lmao at Head being a proper player. And its opposite: Head is a hack while Maxwell is not. The issue with Maxwell is temperament and match awareness. Almost 200 percent sure if he works on it he can somehow survive in any conditions.

IMO Maxwell didn't exactly endear himself to everyone by publicly criticising Wade, his state captain, and acting like a spoilt child in his rants about not being given enough chances to bat up the order.

Proper batting right there not trying to hack every ball for a six

Maxwell is a fixed member of the side. He bats below Head as he can hit ouy late whereas Head can build an innings.

Bigger question is why did Sehwag have such a meltdown post IPL about Maxwell. What a childish selfish flog Sehwag is, so preoccupied with his own job that he throws his Captain under the bus

Maxwell and Lynn apparently find themselves out of favor on account of their refusal to partake in Nazi inspired team bonding exercises. According to a senior aussie journo on twitter.

What sort of team bonding exercises were those? This seems like a page right out of John Buchanan coaching manual :phehe: Any links about this piece?
