Siraj must have played this imp match in place of Thampi. Siraj and Shardul are the ones who can be fast tracked to Indian team and need to play as many matches as they can.

Siraj is very raw. Thampi as of now is better.

Vijay Shankar, K Gowtham included in India A Test squad for series against South Africa A  .The duo will replace Jayant Yadav and Priyank Panchal from the original squad.

Well its a 4 day game (both) rather than youth test or Un official test.Anyway SA back into game  with 6th wicket stand in Tri series final.

I disagree. Thampi has been thumped yet again today. He shows the same characteristics as of Varun Aron. Bowls some absolutely jaffas once in a while in an over but gets thrashed otherwise. Siraj is better. But to each his own.

SA finished really well to 267 - from 120/5 in 29, they would take that anyday.  Is this Pretorius guy really 40 years old? Wonder why SA is playing him in their A team then.  

 

Chahal bowled well again - most economical, would have Zondo's wicket if he hadn't over-stepped.

Siraj was thrashed in previous game where Thami conceded 40 runs in 10 overs. Siraj has been consistently expensive in this series.

He bowled well in his first spell but lost a bit in second.

Right DP 28 years old, you may forget but Virat and dhawan were ask to play for India A vs Aus.A in India to regains their lost form.

 

Nair out India 7 for 1 with Samson (poor series) and S.Iyer need stand here.My money on SOA A team as winner today.

Anyone know where India A heading for more cricket after two, Four day game (proteas A) under Leadership of Nair?

 

I heard under 19 Asia cup in India coming up in 2017 but not know much of A teams progress.

SL coming to India for 3 test Sep/Oct,2017 to celebrate India's 70th independence year (1947-2017)

 

Great for Ash who need 15 more in 4 test (includes pallekele) to break LILLEE'S 300 in 56 test.

Ash 286 in 51 tests.

Samson throws it away in Rohit-esque fashion.   He could have had us cruising here.   Can't ask Pandey to win games single-handedly every time.  Hopefully another flashBOI Iyer plays a proper innings and gets the job done.
