I have a qn. when im browing ICF from office... i dont wanna all those profile pics to be displayed... i mean it wud b nice to see only the texts and the users and not all those graphics... issit possible??

Yeah..go to USER CP -> Edit Options (on the left side) ->Scroll Down a bit and Uncheck Show Avatars,Siggy... :two_thumbs_up:

Can we also get a profile option to view the smileys as text? Example : thumbs_up : instead of :thumbs_up: It is useful when lot of smiley icons are there and sometimes we want profile option to view as all text only.

^^ I think there is a disable smilies. you can find it in ur profile or smth, I have seen it a lot of sites.
i think i've seen it in other sites as well, not sure how to toggle it (smilies) on/off in ICF. Anyone know?

Image Caption tags What are these? They are bbcodes like the image tags or bold tags [ img ] [ / img ] used to show images. These new bbcodes show an image with a caption at the bottom and text can be wrapped around these images. There are three of them: Omit the space in the brackets when using them yourself 

[ imgcaption-left="caption goes here"] put image url here [ /imgcaption-left ]

[ imgcaption-right="caption goes here" ] put image url here [ /imgcaption-right  ]

[ imgcaption="caption goes here" ] put image url here [ /imgcaption ]

For instance, using the first code (use w/o the spaces): [ imgcaption-left=caption goes here] http://usa.cricinfo.com/db/PICTURES/CMS/92600/92668.1.jpg [ /imgcaption-left ] results in :

92668.1.jpg Normally, text goes at the bottom, but now the text is wrapped around the image and the image also has a cool caption below it. Looks cool doesnt it :D I suppose this can be used when making articles. Notes:

  • using the head attribute in quotations indicates that the first row of the table will be a header
  • each attribute in quotations is separated by a semicolon ;
  • sort=4 indicates that the table will be sorted in ascending order according to the 4th column. Notice how the table is sorted according to the 'team' column in ascending(alphabetical ) order To sort by descending order, you would have used sort=4d
  • Each column is separated by using the delimiter |
  • Each row is on its own line
  • you can also sort on the fly, by clicking on the header column cells
